I. June 17- July 3 (3 weeks, closed July 4-5)
“LIFE IS MUSIC!” Music is a part of almost every facet of life, from lullabies, nursery rhymes, & ABC’s to birthdays, ads, sports games, & lifelong celebrations! Music expresses who we are individually and culturally; cheers or calms us; & proves we are alive (feel your heartbeat!). “LIFE IS MUSIC” is a camper-centered celebration of favorite songs & the positive, healing impact Music has in our world. Recital Wed. 6/26; Finale Concert Tues. 7/2 @6:30pm*
II. July 8– July 19 (2 weeks)
“MOVIE MAGIC!” Who doesn’t love a great movie? This session salutes the most popular movie songs ever written! Includes hits from Disney Classics, action adventures, cinema musicals, and camper favorites! Recital Fri. 7/12; Finale Concert Thurs. 7/18 @6:30pm*
- Regular Camp Hours/ Tuition– Monday- Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. • Ages 6 to 14: $495 for session 1, $340 for session II, or $180/week, plus $18 cash supply fee per week, payable at Open House Fri., June 14 from 3:30-5:30pm. or on the first day of camp.
- Extended Hours/ Tuition– Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:30pm • Ages 6 to 14: $45 per week or $10 per day additional, payable at Open House or on Day 1.
- Early Bird/Sibling Discount: 1 child- $10 off each session if paid in full by April 15. No discount for weekly attendance. 2 or more children anytime- $10 off per session per child. Discounts cannot be combined. Scholarships available; deadline to apply is May 15 (application form available online).
- We Love Our Volunteers! High school students may earn up to 250 service hours per summer; online application available February 1; deadline Memorial Day. Music experience desired but not required.
- Camp Location– Coral Springs Charter School • 3205 N. University Drive
- Water balloon war held last day of each session.
- Costumes may involve a nominal extra charge.
- Finale concerts are free; however, a $5 minimum donation per attendee is requested to benefit a local charity chosen by campers & staff. MusicMakers! has contributed over $7,000 in Finale Concert donations to local charities since 2012.
- Did you know? MusicMakers! won the 2022 Amazon Small Business Grant Grand Prize, and was featured in the Parklander magazine in January 2023. MusicMakers! has helped to create over 200 All-State musicians since its inception in 1998. Several Silver Knight Award winners attended our camp! Ms. Nicole, Camp Director, is a National Board Certified Music Teacher; Broward County Teacher of the Year District Finalist; FAU Education Alumnus of the Year, & Broward County Arts Teacher of the Year Winner. A classically-trained singer and private vocal coach, she enjoys teaching all kinds of kids to love ALL styles of music. Ms. Nicole has lived in Coral Springs since 1974.
