- December (pending county approval)- out-of-town trip, airport performance, or TBA
- TBA, Spring- pending approval- Florida Marlins Baseball game National Anthem performance.
- TBA- usually May, pending approval- Broward County Elementary Music Performance Assessment Festival, at a local school in Broward County; showcases local Broward County elementary music programs.
- May TBA- end-of-year celebration day at location TBA!
For All Trips:
- Watch for field trip forms and return them on time to attend these exciting events!
- We are always in need of at least 1 male chaperone for each trip, per School Board policy. Any parent wishing to chaperone must be cleared through the STAR system. To register as a volunteer, go to getinvolvedineducation.com and complete your application.
- Level 2 volunteer clearance is needed for out-of-town trips.
- Volunteer clearance is required before any funds may be accepted from an adult chaperone.
- Remember Parents, that you must keep your child’s chorus excuse notes up-to-date in order for your child to participate in field trips; when a trip has a limited number of seats, those with unexcused absences may not be allowed to attend.
- According to Broward County policy. all library book fines, chorus music fines, and any other outstanding school obligations must be paid at the time of field trip form return in order for your child to attend a trip.
